Software studio for WordPress, WooCommerce and AI agents

We build fast WordPress platforms and WooCommerce stores for e-commerce and education brands in Poland, Austria and Sweden. We also build Claude-based agents that take on the repetitive work, with a person approving every result. Every project is led by a senior developer with 17+ years on the web.

Codewind at a glance

  • 17+ years building for the web

Services

What we build

Platforms, stores, agents, and the delivery pipeline behind them.

Block themes, custom Gutenberg blocks and multi-brand platforms on one shared core. Built on the Roots stack, or headless with Next.js when the project needs it.

  • Gutenberg & FSE
  • Custom blocks
  • Multisite
  • Bedrock & Sage
  • Headless WordPress

WooCommerce e-commerce

Stores for EU markets, built for speed on small screens. Supplier price-list imports, price-comparison feeds, and shipping and tax set up per country.

  • WooCommerce
  • Product imports
  • Shopping feeds
  • Checkout optimization
  • Performance budgets

AI agents on Claude

Claude-based agents that turn price lists into products, review code, audit performance and SEO, and draft R&D documentation. A person approves everything before it goes live.

  • Claude API
  • Claude Code
  • MCP servers
  • Prompt caching
  • Human approval

DevOps & delivery

Docker environments, servers provisioned with Ansible, CI pipelines and automated, versioned releases. Shared code ships as private Composer packages.

  • Docker
  • Ansible
  • GitLab CI
  • GitHub Actions
  • semantic-release

Smaller project? We also build lightweight business websites and run local search audits for small businesses in Poland.

Work

Selected work

Three projects: a premium store, a multi-brand platform and the agents we run in production.

WooCommerce store · Vienna, Austria

DS Lampen: speed first, then search, then sales

Context
DS Lampen sells premium lighting from Vienna to customers in Austria and Germany, in German. With the client, we set the priorities in a fixed order: performance, then SEO, then conversion.
What we built
  • A WooCommerce store on Radicle (Bedrock, Acorn and Sage), with Blade templates, a Full Site Editing block theme and a Bud build.
  • Supplier price-list imports: XLSX files in, WooCommerce products out.
  • A price-comparison feed for billiger.de, with attribution tracking.
  • Shipping and tax for Austria and Germany, plus legal pages for Austria.
  • Checkout and order-pay pages optimized for small screens.
  • Performance budgets, measured rather than assumed.
Outcome
The MVP launched in July 2026. The store is now in continuous development on a monthly B2B contract.
Stack
  • WooCommerce
  • Radicle
  • Bedrock
  • Acorn
  • Sage
  • Blade
  • FSE
  • Bud

WordPress platform · Education · Scandinavia

One WordPress platform for a multi-brand education group

Context
An education group in Scandinavia needed to move its brand websites off a legacy CMS and onto one shared platform. We joined through a software agency partnership and architected the new platform.
What we built
  • A core must-use plugin built on one rule: the plugin is the mechanism, the theme is the policy.
  • A reusable Gutenberg block library, with PHP controllers and Blade views.
  • Per-brand themes on top of the shared core.
  • All of the platform’s DevOps: Docker environments, Ansible provisioning, GitLab CI pipelines and automated releases.
Outcome
6+ brand sites delivered on the platform so far, with about 50 on the roadmap.
Stack
  • WordPress
  • Gutenberg
  • Must-use plugin
  • Blade
  • Docker
  • Ansible
  • GitLab CI

AI agents · Internal in production · Client-facing in development

Claude agents in production, with human sign-off

Context
We run Claude agents in our own daily work, and now build them for clients. Some run headless on a schedule. Others work alongside us in Claude Code.
What we built
  • A daily planning brief, written by a scheduled agent and delivered by email.
  • An R&D documentation generator that drafts work descriptions from Jira tickets and git history.
  • Claude Code agent teams for Gutenberg block development, code review, and performance and SEO audits.
  • In development for a client: an agent that turns supplier price lists into WooCommerce products, with localized German descriptions and shopping feeds.
Outcome

The internal agents are in production. The price-list agent is in development.

Every agent follows one rule: a person approves everything before it goes public or spends money.

  • MCP servers
  • Prompt caching

Approach

How we work

The rules we work by.

  1. Performance budgets

We agree on performance budgets at the start and measure the site against them. Speed is a requirement, not a final polish.

  2. Human approval for every agent action

Agents draft and prepare. A person reviews and approves before anything goes public or spends money.

  3. IP transfer, clean contracts

Plain B2B contracts with IP transfer written in, so you know exactly what you own.

  4. Async, in English, on EU time

Remote and asynchronous by default. We work in English or Polish, on Central European Time.

  5. AI-assisted, senior-reviewed

Agents speed up the work. A senior developer reviews every change before it ships, and a second model checks the first.

About

Who you work with

Daniel Koczuła

Founder and tech lead, Codewind

I have been building for the web for 17+ years, as a senior WordPress developer and tech leader. I founded Codewind in April 2020.

I work with Claude Code every day, write my own MCP servers, and cross-check the output with a second model. In 2026 I built a live-coding demo of Claude Code Agent Teams for a WordPress agency meetup: “I hired a team of AI agents to build my Gutenberg blocks.”

I studied automation and robotics. Now I automate the repetitive parts of web work and leave the decisions to people.
